Tuff City/Night Train Records presents the first of a three-volume vinyl series devoted to brothers Taharqa & Tunde-Ra Aleem and legendary lead singer Leroy Burgess, known to many collectively as the Fantastic Aleems. These classic 1980s dance/R&B jams were compiled from the vaults of the Aleems' NIA label and feature the early jams like the title song that caught the major's attention. Get Down Friday Night features the title hit plus two previously unreleased jams remixed & remastered from the original multi-track tapes.
