Fine Young Tender

Tuff City/Night Train Records presents the second of a three-volume vinyl series devoted to brothers Taharqa & Tunde-Ra Aleem and legendary lead singer Leroy Burgess, known to many collectively as the Fantastic Aleems. These classic 1980s dance/R&B jams were compiled from the vaults of the Aleems' NIA label and features the virginal versions of songs later screwed up in the major's diso-mania. Fine Young Tender contains their classics from "Two Face" to "Confusion" plus newly - created instrumental versions mixed and remastered from the original session reels. These are a must for all DJs who want to add the rarely achieved early '80s blend of uptown funk and dance that is the sound of the Fantastic Aleems.
