Too late for the Hendrix generation and too early for the Parliament/Funkadelic generation. This group defines psychedelic, Folk-Rock-Funk of the 70's. With their folkish reportorial lyrics and sometimes acoustic style guitar, Merda could be called acid funk unplugged. This is an excellent companion album to DEL LP 0003 "Black Merda" both of which have been out of print since their Chess records release in the 1970's.
